About Us

My name is Evelyne, and I was born in the heart of Haiti, a place rich in rhythm, resilience, and flavor. Although I left the island at a young age, the traditions I grew up with have never left me, especially the delicious plant-based cuisine and teas that comfort and nourish our people daily.

One tea in particular has always held a special place in my heart: our traditional Haitian ginger tea. This vibrant, caffeine-free herbal brew is more than just a drink in our culture—it’s a way of life. It’s sipped during joyful celebrations and shared in quiet, reflective moments. It’s a remedy, a comfort, and a daily ritual in Haitian homes.

My love for tea began early, and my mother enjoys reminding me of it. However, it wasn’t until the world slowed down during the COVID pandemic that I started brewing and sharing it with friends and neighbors. That’s when my husband, John, and I decided to share this beautiful tradition more broadly.

John and I come from different worlds yet share a profound love for wellness, creativity, and the outdoors. As a lifelong mountain biker and adventurer, John brings his unique perspective to this journey, which is anchored in nature, movement, and meaningful connection. Together, we have made it our mission to create teas that embody our story: rooted in heritage, inspired by love, and shared within the community.
